October is probably my favorite month of the year. The weather, the colors, the smell of Autumn. And this my favorite week of October. The week leading up to Halloween!

So I took a break from the Languedoc-Roussillon for this week and made this fun little three minute video about my thoughts on wine and Halloween (couldn’t get the walls to bleed though…sigh…I’ll work on that for next year)

Languedoc-Rousillon Part IV: Minervois, Corbieres & Fitou

If you are just joining us we are traveling the Mediterranean along the southern coast of France. We are exploring a place called the Languedoc-Roussillon.

In Languedoc-Roussillon PART I: A Crash Course History I gave a general history and flavor of the place. It’s importance in the France wine culture, it’s struggle and triumph etc.

In Lannguedoc-Roussillon PART II: Coteaux Du Languedoc I tackled the largest appellation in the world hoping to shed some light on it’s many pockets of awesomenes such as Pic St. Loup and that wonderous little lagoon appellation Picpoul Du Pinet.

In Languedoc-Roussillon Part III: St. Chinian & Faugeres we headed North of Pinet and explored two of my faves in this massive wine region. Faugeres and St. Chinian.

And we are here at Languedoc-Rousillon Part IV: Minervois, Corbieres & Fitou where we round up the awesomeness of Languedoc and ready ourselves for the unique identity of Roussillon. I hope you enjoy!
