I had the honor and the pleasure of hanging out with Sadat X, Will Tells and Shine On a couple weeks ago. We started at In Vino and finished up at Alphabet City Wine Co. This is some the most fun I have ever had as a wine geek!
If you haven’t checked out their series it is soooo worth a look (True Wine Connoisseurs). These guys love wine and are doing it right. I love the philosophy: Let’s all just enjoy!
What is it like when you get a bunch of passionate wine lovers who part of the Twitter universe? Well, words just can’t explain it. So I made a quick video hoping to capture the vibe. The vibe: pure, wine geek fun!
In my ongoing obsession…i mean…series on the Languedoc-Roussillon i will now attempt to break down the largest appellation in the area: the Coteaux Du languedoc. Within this huge appellation there are many communes making great wine butt here are a certain few that set in stone on the American market.
I was honored to be invited to the latest installment of Wine Chap NYC’s wine breakfast this past Sunday. Talia and Bethan did up right. Our gracious hosts Jeff Tascarella and Emily Herron along with Matt Duckor from NBC’s Feast and William Tigertt of Freemans made the day happen! Here is a quick video of the day! It was good hangin with y’all!
I am taking a moment…well…ok…three minutes to talk about one of coolest new additions to the internet. The blog is called Cocktail Fodder. Check the video:
I have been honored to be a part of movement called Sud De France which promotes and celebrates the wines of Southern France. I have always loved these wines and figured I would put that passion on video. Here is the first installment of the Langudoc-Roussillon series. It is a crash-course history of the region. I will continue next week with specifics on the various appellations and microclimates of the area. ENJOY!
We have come a long way here in the United States wine culture. 1976 was cool! The whole “green thing”. And something that kinda gets forgotten. We do great bubblies! We don’t call them Champagne. We don’t call them Champers we call them:
When we think of Bubbly we usually think Champagne. And then we think, woah, that’s expensive!. Well there are other bublies out there that are much more affordable and full of peronality. In this video I cover The bubblies of Italy:
Never think that good Bordeaux wine is beyond the reach of your wallet. Join me as I get nice with all the other good stuf that is not fetched at auction.
