Languedoc-Roussillon Series

The Languedoc-Roussillon is one of the most important wine growing regions in the world. Why? Because it was the entry point of wine for France. It has had a very long history with a lot of ups and downs and we are now seeing a bit of a renaissance in the culture and laws that govern the wine industry of this area. Here is my series helping to explain some of the complexities of this ancient and vast wine region:

Languedoc-Roussillon part I: A Crash Course History

Lannguedoc-Roussillon Part II: Coteaux Du Languedoc

Lannguedoc-Roussillon Part III: Faugeres and Saint Chinian

Languedoc-Rousillon Part IV: Minervois, Corbieres & Fitou

  1. Very good Mr. Geek (a think Geek is American for a Nerd which is how I describe myself from time to time)
You do seem to have gotten to the bottom of the Languedoc and to have picked out the beauties.
I do hope that this is not going to mean that the prices of our lovely local wines here are going to soar.
